St Peter’s School

Helping every child to flourish

Positive, Caring, Inclusive

This week the children have enjoyed hunting for leaves, sticks and other natural materials to create nests for the owls from the 'Owl Babies' story. In Maths, they have enjoyed using practical materials to find one more and one less than a number.
The children had a wonderful time at our, 'Magical Tea Party', they enjoyed icing biscuits, making lanterns, spider webs, wands and potions! We finished the day off with music, dancing and party food. They all looked amazing in their costumes!

Pumpkin Soup

The children had lots of fun making pumpkin soup today! The practised cutting the vegetables and describing the texture and appearance of the vegetables.

The children went on an Autumn walk on Monday to collect leaves and look for signs of Autumn in the environment. Back in the classroom, they enjoyed creating their own version of a leaf person, after reading the story Leaf Man.
School is closed next Friday 27th November for our annual Occasional Day.
