School Lunches

School Lunches

We have an excellent catering team who provide high quality food. There is always a vegetarian selection and salad bar with an emphasis on healthy eating.

We are working with School Grid and Herts Catering to offer parents an ordering and payment system that ensures children get the meals they want.  Parents are able to order meals from home, view menus and make payments.  More details about the system can be accessed by clicking on the link below.

School dinners for Spring Term 2024 are £3.30 each day for Juniors, £16.50 per week.  Infants are free.

Facilities are available for children to bring packed lunches.
(Cans, glass bottles and fizzy drinks are not allowed.)
(Lunchtime has staggered times from 11:45 to 13:15).

School Milk Scheme

Our school provides a milk scheme that is available to all of our pupils and we would like to invite you to register your child. School milk is free for under-5s, and for over-5s it is available at a subsidised price. Each child that registers with Cool Milk will receive a 189ml portion of semi-skimmed milk every day, delivered fresh and chilled to the classroom. Their school milk will not only provide them with essential nutrients, but as it is rehydrating and energy boosting it also bridges the gap between breakfast and lunch to help children stay focused. For more information on how milk can benefit children visit www.coolmilk.com/why-milk-is-great.

If your child is unable to drink milk then feel free to send in an alternative drink for them. In addition, drinking water fountains are accessible to children.  We ask that children do not bring crisps or sweets for break time snacks.  The Government currently provides a piece of fruit for all nursery and infant children.

If your child has any food allergies, please let us know.  Have a word with our cook if your child has particular dietary requirements.

Free Fruit Scheme
We participate in a scheme that provides daily free fruit for Key Stage One children.
Welcome back to the Summer Term!
