Chiltern Open Air Museum
Year 1 had a great time exploring homes from the past. We visited a Toll House and learnt about their job and how their house was different from ours. In the afternoon we participated in a cooking workshop. We measured out the ingredients to make scones and then cooked them over the fire!

Perform Workshop worked with the children to create a dance on the theme of an Alien Invasion
We have been learning all about Diwali. We read the story of Rama and Sita and learnt about how people celebrate Diwali all over the world. We looked at how Rangoli patterns are made and then tried to create our own using chalk on the playground.
