We see the building project as a real opportunity to show the children something exciting and different in their experience of school this year. Mrs Young is holding weekly assembles to explain what is happening from one week to the next. This is also an opportunity to reinforce safety messages. Apex’s site manager Neil Smith and colleagues have also given an assemblies, been interviewed by our Eco - Council, answered other children's questions and they plan to do more across the year.
The School Council and the Eco Council are both involved in projects related to the building work which will develop over the year. As a whole school, we will be holding a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) week again relating to the work happening in our midst.
