St Peter’s School

Helping every child to flourish

Positive, Caring, Inclusive

What about noise in the daytime?

We recognise that there will be noise and disruption whilst the building programme progresses and Apex and school leaders are working to minimise its impact. Apex is aware of and working sympathetically to the school day timings as indicated by traffic control above. In addition they know when future key activities such as SATS (in May) take place to avoid noisy work in that time. The hoarding also acts as a sound barrier.

Should there be noise problems for classes nearest to the building site, Mrs Young and her team are considering some options to move children for brief periods. These options are very much dependent on day to day activity within the school and will be managed as they arise. We are fortunate that Apex and school staff are building a strong working relationship with good communication based around maintaining the best environment for our pupils and staff.

Welcome back to the Summer Term!
