Helping every child to flourish

Positive, Caring, Inclusive

Ways that you can help at St Peter's?

Ways you can contribute to St Peter’s

Our community contribute to and support the school in many different ways that are invaluable, including volunteering within the school, supporting PSA events and making direct donations to the school.

We are very grateful for all the support received and below we have summarised the main ways that you can continue to help.

  • The Parent Staff Association (PSA)

The PSA exists to organise fun events for the school community and raise essential funds which are used for the benefit of the pupils. Donations through the PSA are generally at face-to-face events, or through subscribing for tickets to the School Lottery. Upcoming events are communicated through the school newsletter.

  • The Friends of St Peter’s School

For those who are unable to attend PSA events, such as wider family, or parents of children who have since moved on from St Peters, and for those wishing to set up a regular standing order, the Friends of St Peters provides another way to support the school.

St Peter’s Governing Body has set up a charity called “The Friends of St Peter’s School”. The charity welcomes voluntary donations and contributions from parents, carers and friends of St Peter’s. The charity has been set up in response to those that have asked how to support the school financially on a consistent basis, given how stretched school budgets are due to increasing costs.

Donations can be made as a one-off or on a regular basis and will enable the school to enhance the opportunities and experiences of children at St Peter’s. Should you wish to make regular contributions you can set up a standing order using the bank details listed on the gift aid form.

All funds go directly to the school and are administered in accordance with the school’s strict financial policies. The Headteacher will report annually to the Governors on the revenue and how it has been allocated.
