Welcome to the St Peter's School Parent Staff Association (PSA)

The St Peter's School Parent Staff Association (PSA) is a group of parents, carers and staff who work together to make our school an even better place for our children to learn and thrive.

Our aim is simple: to support the school community and enrich every child’s education.
We do this by:

Building strong links between families, staff and the wider school community
Organising events and activities that bring people together and raise funds
Using those funds to provide equipment, resources and experiences that enhance learning and school life

Everyone involved in the PSA is a volunteer, giving their time and ideas to help the school — whether that’s organising an event, running a stall, baking a cake or simply lending a hand when needed.

If you’d like to get involved (in big or small ways) we’d love to hear from you! See below for ways to help or chat with your class representative.

This year (26-27), we are working towards funding a giant outdoor sandpit as part of our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learn) programme, a new reward system to foster more collaboration and agency in our kids, and replacing and augmenting our ageing IT equipment. Watch this space for ways you can get involved.

Events

Pre-loved Uniform Sale
When: Friday 11 September, 8.30-9.00am
Where: Main playground
What: Stock up on all your uniform needs at this pre-loved sale. Coats/fleeces are £3 each, logo jumpers and cardigans are £2 each, everything else is £1 each. Saving the planet and your bank account at the same time!

Reception Disco
When: Tuesday 29 September, 5.30-6.30pm
Where: Main hall
What: A fun-filled evening of music, dancing, and games and a wonderful way for children to relax, have fun, and start making new friends outside the classroom. Book your tickets.

Years 1-3 Disco
When: Tuesday 29 September, 6.45-7.45pm
Where: Main hall
What: Get ready for dancing, games, and plenty of fun, hosted by legendary DJ entertainers. No parents allowed! Registration details available shortly. Book your tickets.

Years 4-6 Disco
When: Thursday 1 October, 6.15-7.30pm
Where: Main hall
What: Too cool for school? Hopefully not yet! Featuring the coolest songs and some classic dance moves, this promises to be epically fun. No parents allowed! Book your tickets.

PSA Lottery

The St Peter’s PSA Lottery is a fun way to support our work: Half the funds go to prizes for lucky winners each term and half goes towards funding equipment, resources, and opportunities for pupils.

How to join in:
1. Complete and submit the Google form below (linked)
2. Set up a Standing Order at your bank for £2.50 per number per month. Grandparents, parents of past pupils, staff and anyone affiliated with St Peter’s can join in the fun!

If you win, your winnings will be transferred to you via a bank transfer, and the winners announced in the school newsletter and/or over email.
