For children in Reception to Year 6, we operate a soft start to the school day. The gates are open at 8:40am  and the children are welcomed into their classrooms ready for lessons to start promptly at 8:50am.

Our Nursery is open from 8:45am until 11.45am.

A typical day 

* Occassionally the classes going swimming have to move their lunch by 15 minutes to allow them time to walk to the swimming pool.

In EYFS the outside classroom is used as much as indoors and so there is no set break time.

We provide a total of 32.5 hours in a typical school week.

If your child arrives at school after 8.50am, please bring them to the school office to sign them in. Children should be collected promptly from their pick up point at 3.15pm, if you have not given them permission to walk home unaccompanied.

For the safety of all the pupils at our school, parents and carers must not enter the school by any door other than the main school entrance. If you need to speak to your child’s teacher please contact the school office to make an appointment or use the designated class email address.

Please note the school office is open from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.
